Meet Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture, a fashion-oriented sedan limited to 150 units

KUALA LUMPUR: Back in April, Mercedes introduced us with the 150-unit limited Maybach S 680 by Virgil Abloh and now it has rolled out yet another fashion-oriented limited edition of its flagship sedan, called the Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture. This elegantly appointed ultra-luxury sedan is inspired by the haute couture world of fashion, making the standard model bland in comparison. 

 

“The intricate features and exclusive design elements are what makes the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture one of the most extravagant models we ever created—it represents Sophisticated Luxury in its purest form,” said Gorden Wagner, Mercedes’ chief design officer. “Our customers have access to the most aspirational lifestyle, so we wanted to reflect this through creating something utterly desirable and using components never before seen on a Mercedes-Maybach.”

Here are the key features of the all-new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture

• It boasts a two-tone exterior paint finish with a rose tone on the lower part and a nautical metallic blue on top 
• The wheels are also sprayed with the same blue tone
• The interior is decked up with a similar colour palette with blue shade on the dash, steering wheel, and upper door panels mated to rose gold-colored trimmings and Crystal White leather upholstery 

• Further accentuating the sumptuous luxury is bouclé fabric which covers the seat headrest cushions and door panels
• The floor mats are made of furry mohair and linen while the ceiling features an elegant Mercedes three-point star pattern
• Also part of the Haute fashion-inspired S-Class is rose gold coloured champagne flutes
• Mercedes has also updated the MBUX infotainment system for the S-Class Haute Voiture. It greets the passengers with exclusive sparkling glitter clouds and shimmering rose gold accents. The profile menu of the system also features exciting avatars wearing classy clothing such as evening gowns, dinner jackets, etc.

• It also comes with a hand-made gift box containing a badge number, a scale model, and a key ring. Also part of the package is a special car cover featuring the Maybach and Haute Voiture logo.
• The automaker has also introduced a collection of handbags, which incorporates the same materials used inside this limited-edition S-Class 

“The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Haute Voiture heralds a new chapter of high exclusivity for the brand,” said Daniel Lescow, the head of Mercedes-Maybach. 

The automaker will begin the deliveries of this ultimate piece of luxury in early 2023 with only 150 units on offer.
