The all-new 2024 MG5 sedan is all set to debut in Malaysia on October 3, 2024. The stylish, petrol-powered MG showcases a couple-like design, measuring 4,675 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width, and 1,473 mm in height. Further, the car boasts a spacious cabin and modern tech including, LED headlights, a six-way power driver’s seat, single-zone automatic air-conditioning, 10.25-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, and much more. The new MG is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine producing 114 hp at 6,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 150 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Paired with the mill is a CVT unit that sends power to the front wheels. With an estimated price under RM100,000, it promises to compete with rivals like the Honda Civic.
