SYM JetX Scooter and WMoto Xtreme previewed
KUALA LUMPUR: It seems like an exciting month for the Malaysian two-wheeler segment, as two new scooters are previewed in the local market. Yes, you read it just right, MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of SYM and WMOTO brands in the country has revealed two amazing scooters - the SYM Jet X 150 and the WMOTO Xtreme 150i. Both of them are 150-cc offerings but provide a completely different riding experience.
Time to know the two latest MForce offerings in detail, starting with the SYM Jet X.
2021 SYM Jet X 150
The SYM Jet X is an urban city scooter that is expected to be priced between RM 8,000 to RM 10,000. It is anticipated to reach all nationwide dealerships by May or June 2021.
It will be powered by a 149.6-cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that pumps out a maximum of 12.3 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 12 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power will reach the ground via a CVT gearbox and belt final drive.
Taking care of its suspension at the front is non-adjustable telescopic forks and three-position pre-load-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duty is performed by a single hydraulic disc unit at either end.

2021 WMOTO Xtreme 150i
Meet the brand new arrival in the adventure scooter arena, the WMOTO Xtreme 150i. Its price range is expected to fall within the RM 8,000 - RM 10,000 range. As for its arrival, the Honda ADV150s rival is expected to reach the dealership by May or June 2021.
The Xtreme 150i sources its power from a 149.6-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit fed by EFI that makes 12.3 hp at 8000 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The adventure scooter is blessed with several great specs and features like -

Suspension and braking duties are performed by non-adjustable upside-down forks at the front and preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. For the latter, there are single hydraulic discs and two-channel ABS.
