All-new 2022 SYM Husky ADV unveiled

KUALA LUMPUR: The Taiwanese scooter maker has revealed the new SYM Husky ADV, thus trying to benefit from the growing urban adventure scooter segment. If launched in Malaysia, the new SYM scooter will go against the likes of WMoto Xtreme 150i and Honda ADV150.

As can be seen in the pictures, the new SYM Husky ADV is a pretty stylish looking scooter with several of its drawing design cues coming from its competitors and even bigger adventure-touring bikes.

What powers the new Husky AVD?

SYMs latest scooter is powered by a 150cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, EFI fed engine making a maximum power of 14.4 hp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 14.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

• LED lighting throughout
• LED DRLs
• Colour TFT-LCD instrument panel with auto-dimming function
• 13-inch wheels front and back wrapped in 120/70 and 130/70 rubbers

The suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks in front and mono-stock in the rear. Braking, on the other hand, is handled by a 260 mm brake disc at the front and 233 mm disc stopping at the rear.
