Nissan Almera turbo went on a fuel efficiency charity drive, here are the results!

KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Nissan cars in Malaysia, recently organised a fuel efficiency charity drive. Called the Nissan Almera Turbo Fuel Efficiency Drive, the participants included Almera Turbo owners affected by the pandemic.

As for the charity part of the event, RM 1 will be donated for every kilometre clocked by Almera Turbo owners. The sum will be donated by several charitable trusts which in this case is RM 12,841 (Almera Turbo clocked a total of 12,841 km).

The participants also took part in the Best Fuel Economy Rating challenge. It was won by Mohd. Fikri Bin Mohmed Kamal clocked an impressive 49.5 kmpl.

What did the participants receive?

The top 20 participants with the best fuel consumption rating were handed a Nissan GT-R LEGO, while others received a special edition Nissan duffle bag.
