Nissan Serena

The interior design and layout of the new Nissan Serena have been crafted out with the sheer thoughtfulness of the Nissan designers. This MPV can easily accommodate 7 passengers with ample headroom and legroom space. For a comfortable seating arrangement, captain seats are provided at the front and middle rows and the rear row has large combined layouts. This was incorporated to enhance the riding experience of the occupants. 

Coming to the dashboard design, we see premium and luxury with top-quality materials and design combination. It is mounted on a comparatively lower side to allow the driver to have clear visibility of the view ahead. The instrument cluster lies behind the steering wheel on a slightly heightened arena. The material quality has some hints of plastic as well, but the overall element is very soft and pliable. Talking about the center-instrument console we see seven USB charging ports, AC vents, and a touchscreen infotainment system. There is also an around0view monitor with Intelligent Moving Object Detection (i-MOD).

Some unique features include roof-mounted AC vents for the passengers at the rear seats and a click button that can open the rear doors. 

The exterior aesthetics of the car are designed to establish a desirability factor among the customer base. The front fascia of the car dons split head-lights and turn signals which are accompanied by LED Daytime Running Lights and headlamps cluster, to form an illuminating front profile. The headlamps are housed at the large chrome grille which are shiny and glossy as silver plates.  The overall look of the front face of the S-hybrid model looks very classy. 

Now, coming to the side profile of the car, we see every inch and corner oozing out premium-ness. Owing to the body-coloured cladding and nicely sculpted lines all over the body, the overall style quotient is enhanced. The A-pillar has got a unique split design to allow clear visibility to the driver. The rear portion of the car has black glass that covers the D-pillar, giving a sense of a roof-kind appeal. Chrome garnishing on the tail-gate also illuminated the rear face of the car. 

The ride quality of the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid is very comfortable and joyful owing to the softer suspension setup. It slides over bumps and jolts with much ease and comfort.

At the heart of Nissan Serena lies an MR20DD 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. Speaking of the qualities of this powerful engine is that it is reliable, performance-oriented, and refined. The engine has the capacity to churn out a maximum of 150 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque and it is coupled to a pulley-driver starter-generator that has the capacity to add 2.6 PS power and 48 Nm of torque.

The Serena S-Hybrid comes with six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). There is also a 360-degree camera view that can be seen on the digital display of the instrument cluster. This allows you to park the MPV in tight parking spaces with ease.

The Nissan Serena is one of the very few vehicles in the market that can comfortably carry people from one place to another without compromising on anything. The seats are very well-cushioned and people are able to sit inside them for longer journeys as well. Besides this, the Serena is equipped with a fuel-efficient 2.0-litre engine that generates a decent amount of power to easily move the vehicle even if it is fully loaded.
