Mercedes-Benz revealed the all-new 2023 A-Class
KUALA LUMPUR: Finally, after four years of introduction, Mercedes-Benz A-Class has received a facelift, both in hatchback and sedan body forms.

As can be seen, the power output remains the same except for the A250e PHEV model which benefits from a powerful 80 kW motor and a large 15.6 kWh battery pack.
The drive is sent to the wheels via either a 7- or 8-speed DCT automatic transmission, depending on the variant.
All the petrol powertrains now get a 48-volt mild hybrid system which integrates a belt-driven starter-generator. The setup offers up to 14 PS of assistance enabling improved coasting.
Exterior
As mentioned, the facelifted model showcases a more subtle design language which includes -
- A new, redesigned radiator grille with a star pattern
- New reprofiled headlights
- Four new wheel designs with up to 19-inches options
- Optional AMG Line wheels with high-gloss black finish
- LED tail lights
- Redesigned rear diffuser
The AMG models get their fair share of updates in the form of
- An updated radiator grille
- New, round badge with AMG emblem (replacing the brand’s star)
- New front apron (A35)
- New wheel design
- New rear spoiler lip
- Revised tail lights
Interior
Like the exterior, the cabin is not far from taking advantage of the facelift. The inclusions include -
- Twin 10.25-inch displays
- MBUX infotainment with memory function
- New screen displays styles (Classic, Sport, & Discreet) & modes (Navigation, Assistance, & Service)
- New cabin hues (black, beige, & sage grey)
- Centre display with fingerprint sensor (for profile authorisation & identification)
- Android Auto & Apple CarPlay support
- USB-C port & USB charging
Safety
Also part of the facelift is an updated set of driving assistance systems including -
- Optional Driver Assistance Package
- Lane Keeping Assists with Active Steering Control
- Parking Package with longitudinal parking
- 360-degree camera with 3D images
