It was only earlier this month that Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launched its all-new coupe, the GLC 300 4Matic AMG Line. The car was revealed globally in June 2022 but has made its way to Malaysia only recently.
Priced at RM 429,888 (on-the-road without insurance) with a four-year standard warranty, the GLC 300 4Matic AMG Line packs several advanced features - comfort, convenience, and safety. All of which we’ll discuss here in detail.
LED lighting unit
The coupe gets a striking front end with LED high-performance headlamps which are included as standard for the first time.
Air inlets
The striking air inlets on the bumper not only add to the car’s power but also its performance.
4MATIC all-wheel drive
The GLC Coupe displays strength in adverse road conditions like snow, wetness, or black ice. Thanks to the interplay between the wheels, the permanent all-wheel drive system provides exceptional stability and traction.
Mercedes me connect
Owners can experience added convenience, driving pleasure, safety, and digital support via the Mercedes me connect service and corresponding Mercedes me apps.
Smartphone integration
Connect your smartphone with ease via NFC, USB cable, or Bluetooth, and device touch controls and voice.
Navigation support
Everyday life becomes a whole lot easier with Mercedes me connect services and hard 0disc navigation. It lets you find the best route while ensuring the driver is ideally informed at all times.
KEYLESS-GO Convenience package
Start and lock your car by simply having the key with you in person. The Hands-free access function allows for the contactless, fully-automatic opening and closing of the tailgate.
Electrically adjustable driver’s seat
The driver’s seat here is electrically adjustable with a memory function offering comfortable and individual adjustment of the seating position. Memory function comes in handy in case different drivers use the vehicle and seat adjustments are revised frequently.
Fully digital instrument cluster
The 12.3-inch instrument cluster is linked to the MBUX system and comes with a few display styles to cycle through. The latter includes - Classic, Progressive, and Sporty styles that vary in terms of information and style of display. The system delivers a razor-sharp image that is easily readable even in difficult lighting situations.
Sound system
The GLC comes with a Burmester surround sound system that offers enhanced performance and exclusivity via its 13 high-performance speakers.
Touch control
The user can customize almost everything with just one finger thanks to the optional high-resolution 10.25-inch touchscreen along with the center console touchpad, and steering wheel controls.
MBUX multimedia system
The new GLC speaks your language thanks to the Mercedes-Benz User Experience. Also, the system allows the integration of content and functions in the smartphone into the car.
Pre-safe system
The GLC Coupe comes with an innovative PRE-SAFE system that generates noise from the speakers that triggers a natural protective reflex.
Urban Guard vehicle protection Plus
All-round vehicle monitoring is offered via URBAN GUARD with an anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection.
Other safety gears include
- Passive cruise control
- A 360-degree camera
- Active Parking Assist with Parktronic (assisted parking)
