Mercedes-Benz customers, get ready for some good golfing!

KUALA LUMPUR: MercedesTrophy is a premium golfing tournament established in 1991 and held exclusively for Mercedes-Benz customers. In its 32nd year, the tournament allows the automaker's customers to experience the brand via their passion for the sport.

Being one of the most coveted events, the MercedesTrophy hosts more than 60,000 golfers globally in over 60 countries annually! On its arrival in the country, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Michael Jopp, said, “Like our products, golf embodies the passion for perfection. Each swing has to be perfect every time. This strong connection between the game and our brand has led to the active involvement for Mercedes-Benz in this sport since its inception in 1989. The MercedesTrophy is a sporting event that reflects the brilliant connection of sports and lifestyle while underlining the luxury status for Mercedes-Benz. Let’s now discuss the MercedesTrophy tournament’s detail -

The Mercedes-Benz organized golfing event will have five qualifying rounds in total held between 15th July to 7th July. The winners from each round will then face each other for the finals on 21th July 2022 at the Saujana Golf & Country Club, Selangor.

The itinerary for the qualifying rounds for men is as follows -

Finalist selection -

Winners from each round will get to participate in the National Final, and the top two finalists with the highest stableford points will qualify for the MercedesTrophy World Final in Stuttgart, Germany.

Prize

Mercedes-Benz has planned on offering several prizes to the participants to encourage the perfect drive. For instance, the first player to achieve a Hole-In-One (on any of the two designated par-3 holes) at each venue would receive the all-new Mercedes-Benz E 200 Advantage Line (RM 330,240).

Other prizes include exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandise and other novelty prizes from MercedesTrophy marketing partners.

Participation

All Mercedes-Benz customers who have purchased a car from an authorized dealer over the past five years are eligible to participate in the event.
