Lots of updates in the Volvo Malaysia line-up; new powertrain & price revision
KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, Volvo Cars Malaysia is doing a bit of a revamp for its existing line-up. The activity majorly includes the introduction of the new and improved Recharge plug-in hybrid powertrains and price revision. While the former change is limited to all its Recharge T8 models, the latter would reflect on the brand's complete line-up.

Charles Frump, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia, said, "Our new line of PHEVs will transform the way our customers experience electric driving." He further added, "The improved powertrain lets our customers drive sustainably at a longer distance, at the same time providing them with range confidence that fits the needs of their everyday lives."
After including a new, improved, and efficient powertrain in its range, Volvo Car Malaysia will soon revise its vehicle prices, effective from May 1st, 2022.
While the new line-up of the 90 and 60 series will be sold at new price points upon rollout, the price adjustment will start with the XC40 T5, XC40 Recharge, XC90 B5, and XC60 B5. As for the ongoing Recharge T8 models, their prices would remain the same till stocks last.
