Under the hood, the Discovery Sport is expected to boast two authorotative power-train a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine which produces a massive output of 193 PS and a 2.2 Liter turbodiesel engine which is inheritited from the iconic Ford. Mated with a nine-speed automatic transmission and All-wheel drive system, Discovery Sport will prove a all-weather winner. Land Rover's new sporty SUV though compact looking, is available in 5+2 seating configuration, which gives it a edge over its competitors. The Malaysian version of Discovery Sport is envisioned to be installed with InControl touchscreen infotainment system, premium upholstery seats, panoramic roof and dual-zone climate control system.
