Jaguar introduces XE and XF 300 Sport Edition
KUALA LUMPUR: The British car brand owned by Tata Motors has announced that by 2025 there will be no Jaguar with combustion engines. Until that happens, Jaguar will be electrifying its existing models to limit emission and fuel consumption. It was only recently that the automaker introduced the mild-hybrid F-Pace Sport version, and now the automaker has done the same for the XE and XF sedans.

The drive is sent to the all-wheel-drive system vis an 8-speed automatic transmission system.
On the performance front, the Jaguar XE 300 Sport variant can touch the 96 kmph mark in just 5.6 seconds and the 100 kmph mark in 5.9 seconds. The XF 300 Sport, on the other hand, being the bigger (thus heavier) sedan, takes an extra two-tenth of a second to touch the century mark. The top speed for both the models is the same at 250 kmph.
