All-new 2022 Jaguar XF launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: After a long wait, the facelifted version of Jaguar’s premium executive sedan, the XF, has finally arrived in the local market. The latest model sports a new distinctive exterior, an opulent interior, and super performance. Let’s discuss it in detail, starting with the price.

The 2022 Jaguar XF comes in a sole R-Dynamic variant in Malaysia, priced at RM 498,800 (excluding insurance but including 10% SST).

Under the hood, the upgraded model is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 250 PS and a peak torque of 365 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox that is mated to the shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel, offering an exciting engagement to the driver. Performance-wise, the rear-wheel-drive sedan runs from zero to 100 kmph in 7.1 seconds.

The new XF looks more striking compared to the predecessor, and the credit goes to a refreshed front fascia. The sedan boasts a new front grille, revised LED headlights with “Double J” DRLs, and a new front bumper. At the rear lies a sleek bumper, dark-tinted LED tail lights and blacked-out trims.

The comfy and luxe cabin of the new Jaguar sedan is kitted with a more dynamic and bold cockpit design that has been designed by keeping the driver’s convenience in mind. The significant inclusions are :

• 11.4-inch curved glass HD touchscreen paired with the latest Pivi Pro infotainment technology
• Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
• Segment-first Active Road Noise Cancellation tech
• Wireless device charger
• Latest generation of driver assistance technology
• Adaptive Cruise Control and Driver Condition Monitor
