2023 Mini Countryman Roof Art Edition launched in Malaysia 

KUALA LUMPUR: Mini has introduced a special version of the Countryman in Malaysia, called the Mini Countryman Roof Art Edition. To design this special model, the BMW-owned brand joined hands with a local artist Jared Lim aka ‘Professional Crayon.’

The Mini Countryman Roof Art Edition underpins the Cooper S Countryman and is available in three striking colour tones - British Racing Green, Island Blue, and Chilli Red. The roof of the car comes with a unique ‘Foliage’ artwork designed by Lim, which “showcases the rich tapestry of Malaysian flowers while highlighting many classic elements of the MINI brand.”

The equipment kit of this special Countryman remains the same as the standard model. The list includes -

• 5-inch digital instrument cluster
• 8.8-inch central touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and smartphone connectivity 
• 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system

• Keyless Go system
• Comfort Access with Easy Opener
• MINI Yours Illuminated cockpit 
• MINI Yours Walknappa Leather steering wheel
• Leather Cross Punch upholster
• Driving Assistant package 

Powering the 2023 Mini Countryman Roof Art Edition is the same tried and tested 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine that is good for making 192 hp of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission enabling the car to run from zero to 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 226 kmph.

The 2023 Mini Countryman Roof Art Edition is priced at RM 264,888 (with the extended four-year extended and service package) i.e. RM 5,000 more than the standard model.
