BMW S 1000 RR

The newly developed BMW S 1000RR has already entered the third generation and has gone through numerous changes. The engine and suspension have gone through meticulous development that has set remarkable progress in the superbike segment with its sporty design. The bike features a new layout that is the flex frame which has bestowed a much leaner fuel lank and trim sections that have improved knee grip and support. 

The front view of this bike depicts a narrow and streamlined silhouette appeal that is integrated with a low-level front section that gives it a more intense and athletic appearance.

The BMW S 1000RR comes with four riding modes which are Road, Dynamic, Rain, and Race. Moreover, the bike also features the Pro Modes which offers three levels of this mode that is Pro 1, Pro 2, and Pro 3. It includes ultra-fast shifting up and down without enabling the clutch by HP shift assistant pro which is among the standard features that offer better handling of the motorcycle. 

The perfect race starts are available as launch control along with configurable pit lane limited which offers the exact speed that is needed in the pit lane. There are various control functions such as DTC, Wheelie detection, and ABS Pro along with the throttle curve and engine break. It delivers amazing performance and feels highly comfortable even at the highest speeds and the credit to this goes to the 1441 mm wheelbase along with some changes in the chassis, swingarm, and front and rear weight distribution.

The S 1000RR is powered by a newly developed inline-four-cylinder engine that has a capacity of 999cc. This extremely powerful engine delivers a power output of 207 hp at 13,500 rpm at a top speed of 200 kmph and above. It also features a maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm and offers a decent fuel consumption at the same time. 

The introduction of BMW shift cam technology has contributed to variations in the valve timings and strikes on the intake side. Moreover, the intake passage offers a lighter engine and exhaust system which reduces the weight of the bike which boosts its overall performance. 

The RR comes with a DTC that is dynamic traction control as a standard feature that offers better driving dynamics and road safety. The high level of driving dynamics and outstanding safety particularly during changing driving conditions contribute to its safety features. Other safety features include suspension and brake, telescopic fork front suspension, and disc brakes that are like an additional safety feature. 

The ABS and pass switch along with side reflectors offer a better riding safety that is more than enough in safety features for a motorcycle.

BMW has done really impressive work and has introduced a whole model that has a good standard. This motorcycle was predicted to set the racing track on fire for both experienced and inexperienced riders and a mind-blower for bike enthusiasts. The bike has gained a lot of popularity in the market of Malaysia with its high-powered engine and stunning performance on road. 

It has been offered a sharper styling with a smaller fuel tank that has made the bike easy to handle and adapt to its riding quality.
