Unrefined engine considering its dimension

The Volvo S90 is an exceptionally styled sedan with a luxurious interior and perfect proportions that make it rank among the best. Its highway performance is quite good, though it lacks excitement. However, the engine feels unrefined for a car of such a huge dimension, impacting its sound quality and smoothness. I was a bit disappointed with its ride comfort initially because of its harshness, but over time my experience has improved. Fuel economy is quite good, with up to 25 MPG in suburban driving and 32.9 MPG on highways. Despite its efficiency and performance, the Volvo's shift toward electrification and the S90's engine led me to part ways with it post-warranty for a Lexus.
