Moto Guzzi V85 TT updated for 2021, gets a new variant, ride modes, etc
KUALA LUMPUR: Moto Guzzi has updated its much-loved and recently launched adventure-tourer for the model year 2021. With the V85 TT getting a new 'Travel' variant in its lineup that includes a taller windscreen and side panniers, both from the company's Urban series. Offered as standard fitments is a LED riding light, the brand's MIA multimedia module, and heated hand grips.
But that's not all, the 2021 V85 TT benefits from a new air-cooled transverse V-twin mill that offers more torque in low and mid-range thanks to the revised rocker arms and pushrods. V85 TT's engine management has also been revised, however, the output figures remain the same, i.e., 80 PS/80 Nm from an 853 cc mill that is paired to a six-speed gearbox and shaft final drive.
Besides that Moto Guzzi has also added two more riding modes to the V85 TT, bringing the total to five. So, joining the Street, Off-road, and Rain modes are - Sport and Custom modes. While the former will deliver a sporty performance, the latter will allow the rider to set the settings as per his driving preference.
Wait, that's not all. For the model year 2021, the Moto Guzzi V85 TT comes with a new set of wheels - 1.5 kg tubeless spoked units that reduces the sprung/unsprung weight ratio.
Lastly, the 2021 Moto Guzzi model is offered in three colour tones - Rosso Uluru, Nero Etna, and Giallo Mojave.
