Ducati Panigale V2 “Black on Black” edition unveiled

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only last month that Ducati introduced two new motorcycles, the all-new Panigale V4R and the Monster SP. And now the motorcycle manufacturer is ready to captivate enthusiasts with the Panigale V2 special edition model, called “Black on Black”.

For the model year 2024, Ducati is offering the Panigale V2 as a new color option alongside the classic Ducati Red.

Design

The motorcycle’s sleek design is enhanced by eye-catching red accents, Dark Matt Grey bodywork, and glossy black elements encompassing the LED headlights and air intakes. Thus creating a truly captivating sight.

Powertrain

Powering the Panigale V2 is a Euro 5 compliant 955 cc Superquadro twin-cylinder engine making a maximum power output of 155 hp at 10,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm.

Braking and Handling

Helping the motorcycle stop are Brembo brakes with dual 320 mm front rotors and M4.32 four-pot calipers with 245 mm rear rotor and two-pot calipers. This setup ensures exceptional stopping power and control. For suspension, it gets a fully adjustable Showa BPF 43 mm fork and Sachs rear shock.

Chassis

The Ducati Panigale V2 “Black on Black” Edition sits on a Monocoque aluminum frame which offers it strength and stability.

Safety

Ducati packs several cutting-edge safety features including ABS Cornering EVO, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2, and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO.
