With the ‘Trade-Up campaign’, upgrade to a brand new Volkswagen
KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has come up with an all-new offer for the existing VW owners to upgrade their cars to the brand’s latest models. It launched a Trade-up campaign by Das WeltAuto, the company’s global used car programme, which offers an opportunity to the owners of Passat B7, Passat CC, Touran, Cross Touran, Sharan to trade in their vehicles with extra support for a new model.
Customers with the above-mentioned vehicles will be able to enjoy an extra RM 3,000 trade-in support for buying any of the following Volkswagen models.
Volkswagen Arteon R-Line: As the brand’s flagship model, it offers a perfect combination of avant-garde design and dynamic handling. It comes with sporty R-Line trimmings and a 2.0TSI turbocharged engine under the hood. With the current sales tax exemption, the Arteon R-Line is priced at RM 220,043.28.
Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace: The extended wheelbase version of the 5-seater Tiguan offers performance as well as multiple seat configurations with a massive boot space of 1,775 litres to the customers. It is available in two variants - Highline and R-Line, powered by different engines. The Tiguan Allspace R-Line price starts at RM 208,553.79, and the Tiguan Allspace Highline retails for RM 164,430.75
Volkswagen Passat Elegance: The Passat Elegance comes with a new exterior and interior styling, improved connectivity, and revamped lighting signatures, with a 2.0TSI turbocharged engine. It is priced at RM 181,856 with the ongoing sales tax exemption.
Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM said that the campaign was spurred by the overwhelming response on the new R-Line range. “From all the positive feedback we received, we understood the need to provide our loyal customers with the possibility of upgrading while remaining in the Volkswagen family. With the support of Das WeltAuto, owning a new Volkswagen is even more convenient as all processes are handled and managed at our dealerships. We are confident that this campaign will entice owners of some of our older models to upgrade to our latest products.”
The Volkswagen technicians will conduct a strict and thorough 133-point check for accepting the vehicle for trade-in. The customer who buys a vehicle from Das WeltAuto gets an assurance that the vehicle is fitted with all genuine parts, accident-free, and comes with complete proof of service along with a 1-year extended warranty and 1-year roadside assistance.
The dealerships where customers can get this offer are Volkswagen Puchong, Volkswagen Gombak, Volkswagen Glenmarie, Volkswagen Alor Setar, Volkswagen Juru, Volkswagen Ipoh, Volkswagen Tebrau, and Volkswagen Skudai.
