Proton is now ramping up the production of Persona due to its increase in demand in recent months. The Persona production line in the Tanjung Malim plant in Perak would go through some refurbishments and upgrades and after that Persona would see an increase in deliveries to its dealers worldwide. Reflecting this demand, we are ramping up our production to meet the growing numbers after assembly of Persona was halted due to refurbishment activities”. He further added “As we see a steady demand in numbers for locally-made cars due to the drop in our ringgit, we’re pleased that more and more Malaysians choose Persona as their preferred car due to its spacious size, moderate fuel consumption and low maintenance cost.”
