New BYD Seal Dynamic launching in Malaysia on Sep 6
KUALA LUMPUR: Launched in February this year, the BYD Seal has quickly gained popularity in the Malaysian EV market. The BYD Seal Dynamic offers a WLTP-claimed driving range of up to 460 km.The upcoming BYD Seal Dynamic will join the existing Premium and Performance variants. For the Dynamic trim, the e-motor generates 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque, compared to the Premium version’s 313 PS and 360 Nm.
The Seal Dynamic also gets the smallest LFP battery pack with a capacity of 61.4 kWh, which offers a driving range of up to 460 km of range (on the WLTP cycle). The safety kit includes nine airbags and a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, lane keeping assist, auto high beam assist, and front and rear cross-traffic alert.
Being the affordable variant of the Seal, the upcoming Dynamic variant is expected to cost less than the Premium that retails for RM 179,800.
