Kia Optima GT unveiled at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show
Kuala Lumpur: The all-new Kia Optima GT made its European debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, with a higher quality interior, chassis tweaks and new technology. The world premiere took place in New York back in April, and the car is scheduled to go on sale next year.
The styling of new Kia Optima GT is built on the strength of the previous model, with a redesigned front face, wraparound headlights and a more muscular front bumper. The side and rear profiles are very similar, but a more sculpted rear LED light design and tweaked bumper give Optima GT's rear a fresh look. At the back, the sedan gets a rear diffuser attached to it along with two oval exhaust tips. In addition, GT trim of the vehicle bumps you up to bigger standard wheels of 18-inch alloys size.
The new Kia Optima is marginally longer, taller and wider than the previous variant, and the wheelbase has been stretched by 25 mm. Due to this change in the dimensions, rear seat passengers enjoy the extra legroom space in the cabin.

Furthermore, it is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. As a result, Optima GT is capable of covering a speed mark of 0-100 km/h in mere 7.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 240 km/h.
