The Jaguar I-PACE was officially introduced in Malaysia in March 2021 and received an updated options list in December 2023.The first, a powerful four-seater grand tourer, is set to launch in 2024 with sales starting in 2025. This transition will see the end of current models like the F-Pace and XF by June, with sales continuing until the new EVs arrive.
In an interview with Road and Track, Jaguar Land Rover North America's President and CEO Joe Eberhardt discussed transitioning to a new electric vehicle (EV) lineup, aiming for a smooth changeover from current models like the F-Pace and XF.
Eberhardt emphasized a strategic shift away from being a volume luxury brand to focusing on an EV-only future, despite the challenges, highlighting Jaguar's commitment to innovation and sustainability. This marks a significant pivot for the brand, aiming to cater to a niche market with high-end EVs
Despite the shift leading to expected sales declines, Jaguar is committed to focusing on a future with an EV-only range, signaling a significant change for fans, particularly as it marks the end of popular models being replaced by EVs.
Eberhardt realizes that the transition will hurt the automaker, but he said “there does come a point where you just need to focus on the future. It may not be a brand for everybody, and that’s by design… Brands need to be focused and to decide what their purpose is.”
Currently, Jaguar's electric vehicle (EV) offering worldwide includes the Jaguar I-PACE, an all-electric SUV known for its blend of performance, style, and sustainability. In Malaysia, the Jaguar I-PACE is also available, marking Jaguar's foray into the electric vehicle market in the country.

Available with the Stealth Pack, the latest version of Jaguar's electric vehicle (EV) showcases an optional appearance package that enhances its aesthetics, notably featuring a modernized front grille finished in Atlas Grey and replacing the traditional pin design with a flat panel.
The Stealth Pack further accentuates the vehicle's look with black side mirror covers, rear diffuser housing, and door and bumper mouldings, complemented by the Jaguar leaper logo in black. Notably, the vehicle sports gloss black alloy wheels, diverging from the silver two-tone wheels shown in the initial Stealth Pack announcement.
The Stealth Pack, starting from RM12k, can be added to both the Black LE and HSE variants of the I-Pace, priced at RM460,800 and RM498,000, respectively.
The HSE variant stands out with its air suspension, performance, heated and cooled 14-way power adjustable front seats in Windsor leather, and a Meridian 3D surround sound system.
Both variants are powered by a dual-motor AWD setup delivering 400 PS and 696 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The 90 kWh battery supports up to 470 km of range on the WLTP cycle, with AC charging taking 8.6 hours for a full charge, and DC fast charging adding 125 km of range in just 15 minutes.
