Kuala Lumpur: The final production version of the all-new Infiniti Q30 hatchback has been revealed at the Frankfurt motor show. The company has provided all necessary details regarding the engine and trim range of the British-built model.
As reported by the company, Q30 will come with three trim levels - SE, Sport and Premium - and a choice of five engines, both petrol and diesel.
Among these trim variants the Premium model features several styling features over the SE, including body-coloured and heated door mirrors, LED front fog lights, and chrome-coloured exhausts. It is also loaded with 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the Sports model gets a bespoke front bumper and a gloss black front grille, along with body-coloured skills and dark chrome exhausts. Compared to the SE's 18 inches, the sports model is anchored on 19-inch alloy wheels and gets a stiffer suspension that's 15mm lower than that of the rest of the range. Being built on the Mercedes-Benz platform, with this fission vehicle Nissan aims to “appeal to the generation X and Y buyers”. The Q30 is built on the front wheel drive Modular Front Architecture (MFA) platform, the same base that does duty in the Mercedes A, B, CLA, and GLA-class. As for the looks, Q30 has booked for itself Infiniti's signature grille mounted by a stunning pair of headlights, followed by an 'arrow-shot' inspired C-pillar, and an extended rear end.
