As for the former kit it includes front and rear Torsen limited-slip differential along with upgraded brakes. As optional is available a Technology package that costs USD770 (RM3,465) and includes wireless charging and a better infotainment system.
Note the above-mentioned standard and optional inclusions remain the same for the Circuit Edition.
As for the entry-level Core variant, the Performance package, Technology package, and cold weather features cost an extra - USD1,180 (RM5,310), USD1,180 (RM5,310), and USD500 (2,250) respectively.
What powers the new GR Corolla? Powering the stunner is a 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that pumps out a maximum power of 304 PS along with a peak torque of 370 Nm. In the limited-edition Morizo Edition, the mill is turned to make 400 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. The hatch also gets a GR-Four all-wheel drivetrain.
While the GR Corolla Circuit and Morizo Edition will make their way to the dealership in the spring of 2023, the entry-level Core trim will come sooner, in November 2022.
