Platform & Design
The Vios gets a brand-new platform along with new striking styling which shares a resemblance with the all-electric bZ4x.
At the front, the sedan features a hammerhead shark-like look which gives the car instant recognition. Also, part of the design kit is the ‘AeroKit’ that includes a rear spoiler, rear diffuser, side skirt, and front lip. Like the Alza, the Vios also gets an RFID tag, however, it misses out on a spare wheel.
The two Vios trims can be differentiated from each other via the grille finish, wheels, window trims, and taillamps. A sequential rear indicator is exclusive to the G trim.
Interior
The new Vios features a familiar-looking cabin with a more premium feel. For instance, it gets brown trims on the door panels and dashboard. The car’s feature list includes

Engine
Powering the all-new Vios sedan is a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine generating a maximum power of 106 hp along with a peak torque of 138 Nm. Thus making the new Vios 1 hp and 2 Nm less powerful than the previous-gen model. The drive is sent to the wheels via a new CVT with 7 virtual gears from Toyota.
Compared to the previous models, the new Vios is more efficient, it now offers 8% more mileage with a fuel economy of 19.23 kmpl.
Safety
The range-topping Vios benefits from a full suite of Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver assist features. The list includes

- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Lane Departure Prevention (LDP)
- Lane Keeping Control (LKC)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
