Bentley teases its upcoming model; assures great seating comfort

KUALA LUMPUR: Bentley will soon launch its fifth model; on May 10, to be precise. The upcoming model has been teased for the second time today. Not revealing much, the short video only shows a fancy purple door panel and a plush pair of seats.

What is the new Bentley called? We don’t know for sure; however, no new test vehicle for the automaker has been spotted yet. The last Bentley that made news was a Bentayga prototype undergoing cold-weather testing. And when looking closely, one can find some similarities between the door panels of the new Bentayga and teased car. The matter would be resolved in the upcoming week with the launch of the new Bentley.

Until that happens, here’s what we know about the upcoming Bentley -

• The Bentley will feature 24 billion trim specific configurations
• It will come equipped with the automaker’s new Airline Seat with a 22-way adjustment and ‘advanced postural adjustment technology.’ The latter includes 177 individual pressures changes across six zones

• A new auto climate sensing system is also part of the upcoming Bentley comfort kit
• The door panel benefits from Bentley’s Diamond Illumination, wherein light is emitted through small perforations (1 mm)
• The front and rear doors will get 12 and 22 LEDs, respectively
• The brand’s illuminated diamond pattern will also be part of the car’s feature list

That’s all we know about the upcoming Bentley car that is scheduled for a May 10, 2022 debut. Its arrival is expected to add to Bentley’s growing and record-breaking sales figures.
