Maserati Grecale

Being one of the latest offerings from Maserati, the Grecale has a modern and up-to-date-looking cabin, which impresses with its elegant and classy layout. Thanks to the presence of a 12.3-inch full-TFT instrument console and a chunky-looking three-spoke steering wheel, the driver’s cockpit of the Grecale looks very inviting.

There are additional screens in Grecale’s cabin, in the form of a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.8-inch TFT touchpad for various drive and climate controls. A rounded TFT digital clock at the top of the centre console adds even more classiness to the cabin. All three variants of the Grecale also get additional premium features like power, heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, multi-zone automatic climate control, Sonus Faber sound system, ambient lighting and more. The choice of colours and stitching for the leather upholstery in all three versions of the Grecale look different.

All three versions of the Maserati Grecale have the same silhouette and stance and are distinguished by visual elements all around its body. The overall stance of the Grecale is that of a high-riding crossover, with well-contoured curves all around, giving it a smooth look

The classy-looking front end of the Maserati Grecale has a curvy and rounded appeal to it, with it having the Italian marque’s trademark rounded and lowered grille with vertical slats and the Trident logo within it. The headlamps also look sleek, which along with the boomerang-shaped segmented daytime running LEDs make the Grecale look flashy. The design of the bumper in all three versions of the Grecale looks different, with the air vents in the Trofeo looking the sportiest among the three versions of the SUV.

For an SUV, the Maserati Grecale isn’t too tall, and taking the curved contours of the bonnet and roofline, it looks more like a crossover than a traditional high-riding SUV. The Grecale has smooth-looking doors and front fenders, with the rear fenders having a smooth hump above the rounded wheel arches. All three versions of the Grecale get different patterns for the 20-inch machined alloy wheels and finish for the tri-bar front fender visual element. 

At the back, the Maserati Grecale has a hint of a coupe, with a steeply-raked curved windscreen and smoothly-designed boot lid, complemented by sleek-looking combination LED tail lamps. The rear bumper gets different designs and diffusers and housings for exhaust ports in all three versions. The Trofeo is also garnished with carbon fibre inserts at places, which are finished in chrome in the GT and gloss black in Modena versions. 

All three versions of the Maserati Grecale come bestowed with four drive modes – Comfort, GT, Sport and Off-Road. However, the Trofeo version also gets a Corsa mode addition for an additional touch of sportiness in its driving dynamics. Maserati is offering an air suspension package as standard in the Trofeo and as an option in GT and Moden versions.

Maserati has offered two different petrol-powered engines for the Grecale – a 2.0-litre inline-four engine in the GT and Modena versions and a high-revving 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 in the Trofeo. The 2.0-litre engine makes 450 Nm of torque in both GT and Modena versions, with 300 PS of power in the GT and 330 PS in the Modena version. The 3.0-litre V6 makes 530 PS of power and 620 Nm of torque. All three versions get an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. 

The comprehensive list of safety features offered in Maserati Grecale as standard includes automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist recognition, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, active driving assist, adaptive cruise control, park assist with rear active braking, surround view camera, active lane management, traffic sign recognition, drowsy driving detection, intersection collision assist and intelligent speed assist.
