Another teaser of the 2020 Perodua Bezza is out

KUALA LUMPUR: It hasn't been long since we came across the first teaser video of the upcoming 2020 Perodua Bezza. Recently, a 15-second long video was released by the Malaysian automaker following the leak of the A-segment sedan's brochure and price list. The first teaser video gave us a glimpse of the soon to be launched sedan's front grille, rear end, dashboard, and rear seats. And now, the second and the third teaser videos are out depicting the LED headlamps, rear LED elements, and the overall silhouette of the A-segment sedan in the dark.

In the first of the two videos, we see the 2020 Perodua Bezza's LED lighting at the front and then the overall structure of the sedan in a dark environment. Then comes the Malaysia and Kedah footballer Zaquan Adha with a text that reads "Now is the time to go further". In the third teaser video, the 2020 Perodua Bezza can be seen coming down from a ramp. Once again, the LED lighting at the front is visible. The sedan then takes a U-turn for us to witness the rear LED signatures. Just the second video, the car is, once again, shown in full length, albeit in a dark setting.

Furthermore, the third video sends with the face of Malaysia and Kedah footballer Zaquan Adha and a text that reads "Now is the time to see things differently". Just in case you are not familiar with the changes that the 2020 Perodua Bezza will come with, the sedan will get LED headlamps, redesigned front grille, two-tone side skirts, dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment system, and parking sensors with a reverse camera.

On the mechanical front, there are no changes made to the facelifted Bezza as the A-segment sedan will continue to be offered with the same old 1.0-litre three-cylinder VVT-i engine and the 1NR-VE 1.3-litre four-pot motor. The two petrol-fed engines produce 67 hp & 91 Nm and 94 hp & 121 Nm, respectively. A five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic remain to be the transmission options on the 1.0-litre mill, whereas the bigger 1.3-litre will be offered with the four-speed automatic transmission only.

The major highlight of the 2020 Perodua Bezza is the automaker's Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) 2.0 safety suite that features advanced safety features like Pedestrian Detection (up to 50 kmph), Pre-Collision Warning (up to 100 kmph), Pre-Collision Braking (up to 80 kmph), Front Departure Alert and Pedal Misoperation Control. With more teasers coming, we guess the day is nearing when we see the all-new 2020 Perodua Bezza in the flesh.
