2025 BMW 530i M Sport CKD previewed in Malaysia - Est RM400k

KUALA LUMPUR:  BMW Malaysia has added the all-new 530i M Sport to its locally assembled lineup. Although this is not an official launch, interested buyers can already book the vehicle, as BMW Malaysia has announced its estimated price of RM400,000.

    The 530i M Sport stands out with its enlarged kidney grille, now featuring the BMW Iconic Glow package for a fully illuminated frame visible day and night.

    Its aerodynamic silhouette flows into the rear, accentuated by slim LED taillights, the Hofmeister kink, and 20-inch M light alloy wheels in star-spoke style (938M).

    The cabin is equipped with a BMW Curved Display that combines a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen powered by BMW Operating System 8.5 with QuickSelect.

    Audio is handled by a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System with 18 speakers and a 655-watt amplifier.

    Other features include redesigned sport seats with electric adjustability, four-zone automatic climate control, and Merino leather upholstery in Black/Atlas Grey or Copper Brown/Atlas Grey.

    As we all know, via the 520i, rear passengers benefit from improved headroom and legroom over the previous model.

    Performance

    Under the hood, the 530i M Sport is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology, producing 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. It hits 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

    The BMW 520i M Sport also sports a similar engine setup, but the base model 5er delivers 208 hp and 330 Nm of torque, and can only do 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.

    Another upgrade in the 530i M Sport is the addition of Adaptive Suspension Professional with Integral Active Steering enhances agility and comfort.

    Rear wheels can turn up to 2.5 degrees, reducing the turning circle to 11.7 meters for easier parking and maneuvering.

    Tech and Features

    Standard driver assistance features include Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus, which come with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and advanced parking aids like a 360-degree camera and Remote 3D View.
