2023 Mini Clubman Final Edition launched in Malaysia; check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: Back in March, Mini introduced the 2023 Mini Clubman Final Edition which marks the end of an era for its beloved station wagon. The worldwide production of this special Clubman is limited to just 1969 units, of which Malaysia gets a total of 20 units. 

The 2023 Mini Clubman Final Edition is priced at RM 308,488 (on the road without insurance) with a standard two-year warranty. However, the one who opts for a four-year extended warranty and service package needs to shell out an amount of RM318,888.

Let’s know the 2023 Mini Clubman Final Edition in detail, starting with the exterior.

Exterior

The limited-edition Clubman comes with several exclusive charismatic detailings. The restyled front bumper and grille of the car are adorned with a dramatic Shimmer Copper trim, while the side scuttles on the front fender feature a high-gloss finish. The Cooper S blade on the grille dons in Shimmer Copper accents.  

The MINI Clubman Final Edition looks elegant with Piano Black accents on the headlamps, door handles, and exhaust tip. It features distinctive 18-inch light-alloy Shimmer Copper wheels, unique split rear doors, and “1 of 1969” badge on the C-pillar, and a glistening “Final Edition” on the rear.

The MINI Clubman Final Edition is available in three colour choices - Nanuq White, Melting Silver III, and Enigmatic Black. 

Interior

Speaking about the edition-specific interior highlights, the MINI Clubman Final Edition comes with the 'Final Edition' emblem on the Nappa Leather steering wheel's bottom spoke and the same subtle lettering on the door sills. The luxurious Velour floor mats bear the ‘1 of 1,969’ badge. The MINI Yours leather sports seats are finished in Dark Maroon and come with adjustable thigh support and a sewn-in edition badge. The Final Edition lasered rivets are also present in either Shimmer Copper or Enigmatic Black.

Engine

As the Final Edition version is based on the existing Clubman S trim, it runs on a 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo engine. The said mill cranks out a maximum power of 192 hp from 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 280 Nm from 1,350 to 4,600 rpm. Power is channelled to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch sports automatic transmission, allowing the car to run from zero to 100 kmph in 7.2 seconds and clock a max speed of 228 kmph.

Safety

The car comes with an advanced Driving Assistant pack as standard, which offers digital high-beam assistance, speed limit information, pedestrian warning with a light city braking function, and approach control warning with a light city braking function. Also, parts of the kit are six airbags, dynamic stability control, traction control, a reverse camera, and a parking assistant with a front park distance control.

On the purchase of the Clubman Final Edition, Mini Malaysia offers 5-year roadside assistance, including services like 24-hour, 365-days-a-year accident and help on the phone and on-the-spot hotline, free towing services (over 200 km from residential home), replacement vehicle, seamless mobility, accommodation, mobility services solutions as well as repatriation services.
