#1 Name: The name ‘Octa’ refers to the octahedral shape of the toughest and most desirable mineral on the planet Earth, a diamond. It is this shape that gives the diamond its durability and distinctive appearance.

#2 Most powerful Defender: The Defender Octa is tagged by the company as the most potent, and extreme Defender ever. All thanks to its 4.4-litre Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine that pumps out a maximum power of 635 hp along with a peak torque of 750 Nm. With the Dynamic Launch Mode activated, the torque reaches 800 Nm.

#3 Drivetrain: The power is transmitted to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission with a twin-speed transfer box.

#4 Superb performance: The Defender Octa is capable enough to complete a century sprint (0 to 100 kmph) in just 4.0 seconds and attain a top speed of 248 km.

#5 Revised chassis: Did you know that the Defender Octa benefits from heavily revised chassis components with innovative tech? This has made the car’s body 68 mm wider and 28 mm taller along with several hardware and geometry changes.
