5 Features Proton S70 gets over Honda City

It was only recently that Proton introduced its new sedan, the S70, in Malaysia with prices ranging from RM 73,800 to RM 94,800. Based on the Geely Emgrand, the new model shares the same BMA (B-segment Modular Architecture) platform as the Proton X50 and is equipped with a 1.5-litre engine/CVT combination, a commonality in the ASEAN B-segment space.

As per the pricing and mechanical setup, the new Proton S70 appears to fall into the B-segment sedan category, where it squares up against the Honda City (priced between RM 84,900 and RM 111,900), however, the automaker designates it as a C-segment sedan.
