2025 Toyota Camry 2.5V: Powertrain
On opening the bonnet, you’ll find a Toyota Dynamic Force mill which specifically is a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre in-line unit serving a maximum power of 204 PS at 6,600 rpm along with a peak torque of 246 Nm from 4,200 to 5,000 rpm. The drive is sent to the front wheels through a Direct Shift 8-speed automatic transmission.

The 1VM electric motor generates 136 PS and 208 Nm. The total system output rests at 230 PS. The power is sent to the wheels via an E-CVT with selectable drive modes including Eco, Sport, Normal, and EV.

2025 Toyota Camry 2.5V: Performance
The above-mentioned engine and transmission combo allow the Camry 2.5V to complete the century sprint in just 8.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 210 kmph. We feel these figures are perfect for an urban commuter who likes to have a little fun on the weekends. The hybrid variant is a tad faster when it comes to touching the 100 kmph mark (7.2 seconds), however, the top speed is limited to 180 kmph.
2025 Toyota Camry 2.5V: Braking & handling
Helping the Camry deliver a smooth ride all along is MacPherson Strut suspension at the front and Double Wishbone at the rear. Taking care of braking are Ventilated Disc and Solid Disc at the front and rear end respectively.
Adding to the ride comfort is the Camry’s parallel-axis electric power steering which minimizes the vehicle turning effort to the minimum.
2025 Toyota Camry 2.5V: Exterior
In terms of design, the all-new 9th gen Camry features a completely revised styling which is a perfect blend of elegance and sportiness. The sedan features fresh design language that brings it in line with other new Toyota cars.
At the front, the car features a shark-nose-inspired fascia which Toyota calls a hammerhead shape. Its elongated bonnet features sleek automatic Bi-LED headlights with LED turn signal lamps and integrated C-shaped DRLs. Between the two lighting units sits the Toyota logo.
Moving to the car’s side profile, the Camry continues to showcase a low-slung stance but now with a more sloping and lowered roofline. Not to forget, the profound wheel arches house a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/45R18 tyres. The ORVM this time around is auto-retractable, reverse-linked with 2-position memory.
The rear end of the new Camry looks sculpted and sporty. Adding to the sedan’s overall beauty are the new C-pattern rear combination lamps.
