KUALA LUMPUR: It was only last year at the EICMA that Aprilia introduced the SR GT 200. The new scooter was made available in two variant options - the SR GT 125 and the SR GT 200. The latter was recently launched in Japan and now it’s Malaysia’s turn to experience Aprilia’s latest ‘Urban Adventure’ scooter.

At the front, it comes fitted with the brand’s signature tri-LED headlights with daytime running lights. Also, part of the kit are wide handlebars, knobby tyres, and long-travel suspension.

What powers the new Aprilia SR GT 200?
Powering the 2022 Aprilia SR GT 200 is a 174cc single-cylinder mill making a maximum output of 17.43 hp at 8,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 16.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
Further its 9-litre fuel tank assures less petrol station stoppages with the Showa 33 mm telescopic front fork and Showa rear twin shock ensuring a smooth ride. Helping the scooter stop, however, are 260 mm front petal disc and 220 mm rear petal disc brakes.
Other than that Aprilia has also equipped its new scooter with several exciting features like - a full digital LCD instrument panel and auto engine start/stop.
