Nine superior bikes launched at Ducati Malaysia Premier 2019

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Ducati Malaysia, Next Bike Sdn Bhd has unveiled the impressive 2019 lineup of nine superior and powerful bikes. These bikes were launched at the Ducati Malaysia Premier 2019, held at Naza Automall PJ.

These bikes were first introduced at the 2019 Ducati World Premier in Manila, followed by International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition.

The 2019 Ducati lineup includes -

Here is a bit of a highlight about the nine bikes launched by Ducati Malaysia -

Ducati Panigale V4 R

It is a pure sports bike and was introduced at the EICMA 2018 where it grabbed the ‘best-looking bike of EICMA 2018’ title. It is the expression of Ducati racing DNA and has the technical platform of the company Superbikes scheduled to participate in the 2019 Superbike World Championship. It is powered by a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine that offers track-like performance.

Ducati Diavel 1260 S

The Diavel 1260 S was first exclusively introduced to the Desmo Riders Club Malaysia via a sneak preview in May 2019. This scene-stealer stunts with its unique design, thoroughbred engine, and sport naked handling. It combines the ergonomics of a muscular cruiser with the performance of a maxi-naked. Its Testastretta DVT 1262 mill churns 159 hp of power at 9,500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque.

Ducati Hypermotard 950

For the year 2019, the Hypermotard 950 has become more rider-friendly, racier, and is packed with adrenaline. The bike now takes cue from the supermotard race world with an ultra-advanced chassis set-up, electronic package, and completely overhauled ergonomics. Powering this bike is now a renewed 937cc twin-cylinder Testastretta 11 with greater pulling power, more muscle, and new electronics. The mill offers 114 hp at 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm at 7,250 rpm.

Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro

The 2019 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro gets the company’s new Testastretta DVT engine that ensures fantastic pulling power right from the low-to-mid rev range. This adventure rider offers the maximum torque in the segment and also comes with Ducati Quick Shift Up and Down that allows gear change without using the clutch. This calls for more relaxed city ride, superior ride pleasure, and exceptional ease of handling off-road trails. Its safety kit includes Ducati Traction Control, semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspensions (DSS) Evolution, Bosch Cornering ABS, and Ducati Wheelie Control.

Ducati Multistrada 950 S

A part of 2019 Ducati lineup is the Multistrada 950 S that is an ideal choice for everyday riding pleasure. It is designed to be more enjoyable and safer and so, comes with features like Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Bosch Cornering ABS, and 6-axis Bosch IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). Also, available now is an S trim offering most advanced performance, technology, and comfort. The bike now features full-LED headlight, Cruise Control, 5-inch color TFT display, Ducati Quick Shift up & down, upgraded rider-bike interface, and more.

Ducati Scrambler Range

Included in this year’s lineup is the entire Scrambler range with a significant overhaul. The bikes in the range showcase a perfect blend of innovation and design. All the four carefree bikes in the Scrambler lineup the Scrambler® Icon, Scrambler® Café Racer, Scrambler® Full Throttle, and Scrambler® Desert Sled gets upgrades like automated LED indicators, LED DRL, Ducati Multimedia System, and New Bosch Cornering ABS.
