New slip-on for 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE by Akrapovic

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Suzuki Malaysia launched the all-new 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE middleweight adventure bike in the local market alongside the 2023 Suzuki GSX-8S.

Now we hear, it gets a new slip-on from Akrapovic which allows the riders to opt for a new exhaust system.

• The new slip-on not only creates better exhaust note but also enhance engine performance
• The new unit is fully homologated to ECE and meets the latest Euro 5 standards
• It increases the power and torque delivery up to one horsepower and one newton-meter respectively
• Like the majority of the Akrapovic exhaust system, the new slip-on exhaust is made entirely from titanium and carbon fiber
• Its slip-on nature makes the system super easy to install

In the local market, the 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE will go up against the likes of the BMW F 850 GS and KTM 890 Adventure.

Powering the new Suzuki is a 776 cc parallel-twin,liquid-cooled, DOHC power plant making an impressive power of 82 horsepower @ 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm @ 6,800 rpm
