- The bike is powered by a 1,037-cc DOHC, liquid-cooled V-twin engine delivering a maximum power of 105.5 hp and a peak torque of 100 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox mated to a chain final drive system
- The new Suzuki V-Strom runs on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear tyre wrapped with Dunlop Trailmax Mistour tyres
- To accommodate the bigger wheels, the bike gets longer suspension travel. It features 170 mm of suspension travel on both axles, which is 10 mm higher than the outgoing model
- The suspension setup comprises fully-adjustable Kayaba upside-down front forks and preload-adjustable Kayaba monoshock.
- The adventure tourer also benefits from the lengthened swingarm, which resulted in a longer wheelbase, providing better stability in off-road conditions.
- The impressive ground clearance of the bike is measured at 190 mm
- Part of the bike’s electronics riding suite are Suzuki Traction Control System, Motion Track Brake System, Hill Hold Control System, Cruise Control System, Load Dependent Control System, Suzuki Easy Start System, Slope Dependent Control System, and Low RPM Assist
- It also comes with multiple riding modes, including a "Gravel" one, which specifically controls ABS and traction control for broken grounds
- Replacing the older LCD digital display is a new 5-inch TFT screen, providing better readability to riders
- Also part of the kit is a ‘quickshifter’ function that enables gear shifting without using the clutch
