Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 gets GIVI luggage accessories

KUALA LUMPUR: For those who aren’t aware, GIVI is a leading manufacturer of motorbike accessories that are perfect for demanding bikers. Now, the aftermarket accessory expert has lined up a robust range of luggage accessories for the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle now comes with a new rear rack that is fitted with GIVI’s top case and side panniers. Both come in anodized aluminium to fit GIVI’s Monokey top case. GIVI is also offering other side case options that the owners choose to fit on different panniers.

Also available is GIVI’s Tool Box which can be installed via a special mounting kit on the left-hand side of the motorcycle. Wanna hang additional luggage? Worry not, as you now have GIVI’s Tanklock and Tanklock bags that via a new flange gets locked on the fuel tank.

Apart from the luggage accessories, GIVI is also offering a taller and wider windscreen to the owners. At 45 cm tall and 49.6 cm wide, the new unit is 4.5 cm more elevated than the H-D unit and needs an altogether separate kit for installation.

What else? Well, there is a new steel tubing made black engine guard that spreads 25 mm in diameter. It is advised by the GIVI to install the said guard by professionals only.

If you, like many others, are concerned about the stock slide stand, don’t be now. As GIVI is offering aluminum and stainless steel robust side stands with a wide footprint.

Nice, right? While all their additional accessories will surely allow the rider to carry more luggage they do come bearing a hefty price.

As far as availability is concerned, we are not sure when the new GIVI product range for Pan American 1250 will arrive in Malaysia.
