KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed in 2023, the all-new Ducati Multistrada V4 RS has now made its way to the Malaysian market. It is a sport-touring motorcycle built for performance lovers, combining Ducati's racing legacy with excellent touring features, which makes it stand out in Malaysia's motorcycle arena.

Price and warranty
The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is priced at RM 285,900 (on the road, without insurance) in Malaysia. The price includes a three-year Ever Red Factory warranty, which is specifically crafted for Ducati enthusiasts and comes with no mileage restrictions.
Engine
The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a 1,103-cc MotoGP-derived Desmosedici Stradale V-four engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 180 hp at 12,250 rpm and a peak torque of 118 Nm.
Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox mated to quickshifter and chain drive. The bike comes with a dry clutch made from billet aluminium for a distinctive Ducati performance and sound, enhanced by an Akrapovič silencer.
Design
The Multistrada V4 RS boasts an exclusive design, featuring a striking Iceberg White livery adorned with red accents and MotoGP-inspired graphics. The front fender, hand guards, heat shield, and front beak are made up of carbon fibre components, which add a distinctive touch to this Ducati model.
Contributing to its sporty design is a technopolymer tail section, titanium subframe, and 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels, which are 2.7 kg lighter in weight compared to standard cast wheels.
The Multistrada V4 RS also features a unique serial number displayed on a black anodised aluminium plate at the steering head.
Electronic riding aids
The Multistrada V4 RS is equipped with several electronic aids, including - Riding Modes, Power Modes, ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control, and Ducati Wheelie Control.
Suspension and braking
As for suspension, the latest Ducati bike gets the Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension system, which is also found in the Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter V4 S.
The high-performance braking system, on the other hand, utilises Brembo Stylema callipers gripping 330 mm discs at the front and a single 265 mm diameter disc with a Brembo floating calliper at the rear. Also part of the braking setup is a Bosch-Brembo 10.3ME Cornering ABS.
