Ducati Motorcycle reveals its first-half sales report; displays remarkable results
KUALA LUMPUR: During the first half of the year, Ducati sold more that 33,000 motorcycles, thus making the time frame pretty remarkable for the company. What’s more impressive is such great numbers were achieved despite the ongoing logistic crisis the market is facing.

How many units did Ducati sold during H1 2022?
Ducati sold 34,515 units from Jan -July 2022.From January to July 2022, the Bologna based motorcycle brand delivered a total of 33,265 units globally. When compared to the same period last year, the sales seemed to have dropped by 3.6 percent with 34,515 units sold.
As for the two-wheeler’s revenue, it grew by 5.4 percent with the total coming to EUR 542 million which is the highest H1 revenue ever recorded by the company.
Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali on the amazing success said, “2021 was a record year for Ducati with the best result ever in terms of deliveries, revenues and operating profit. 2022 is proving to be a more challenging year: despite strong demand from enthusiasts, as evidenced by the order portfolio which at the end of the first half is up + 86% over the same period of 2021, the strong discontinuity in the world of logistics and supply remains.”
He further added, “However, we managed to obtain satisfactory results considering the context in which we are operating, especially in terms of revenue, which is the best ever recorded in the first six months of the year.
“I would like to once again thank all the enthusiasts who continue to choose us, and I personally apologize to all those who had to or will have to wait longer than necessary to receive their bike.”
As for Ducati’s biggest sales contributors - model and market wise. The former title is taken up by Multistrada V4 with 6,139 units sold during the first six months globally. Following the suite is Monster (4,776 units) and Scrambler 800 (3,999 units). As for the brand’s biggest market, China topped the list with over 2,000 units sold over the first six months of 2022.
