All-new 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S debuts in Europe

KUALA LUMPUR: Ducati has unleashed the all-new iteration of its adventure-touring motorcycle, the Multistrada V4S, in Europe. The new model gets a new colorway, updated electronic suspension, and some rider-demanded accessories. 

Talking about the new colour scheme first, Ducati now offers the Multistrada V4S in a gloss white livery called ‘Iceberg White’. It joins the Ducati Red and Aviator Grey options, which are currently on offer with the bike.

The latest sports tourer also gets an updated electronic suspension, which enables the rider to reduce the height of the bike by lowering the preload level to the minimum level. By this, the rider will be able to keep the feet on the ground, This will be very helpful when riding in tight urban spaces, especially with a passenger on board.

Also new for 2022 is an updated Ducati Connect infotainment system and Human-Machine Interface areas that make things more comfortable for the rider. These updates are also available for current Multistrada V4S owners free of charge.

Ducati also added some rider-demanded accessories to the kit, which include -

• Lowered suspension kit with fork springs, shock absorber springs, and a side stand, combined with the low seat option.
• Aluminium cases designed by Centro Stile Ducati in association with Givi. These include 76-litre aluminium side panniers and a 41-litre top case with internal bags.

At the core of the new 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S lies the same tried and tested 1,158-cc, four-cyl, liquid-cooled engine that kicks out a maximum power output of 168 bhp at 10,500 rpm and a peak torque of 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm. The power is transmitted to the ground via a six-speed gearbox.

The all-new 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4S will go on sale in Europe from March 2022.
