All-new 2022 Aprilia SR MAX 250 HPE scooter introduced in China

KUALA LUMPUR: China has become the first Asian market to benefit from Aprilia’s popular middle-weight maxi-scooter, the SR MAX 250 HPE.

In this article we’ll be discussing the latest Aprilia scooter in detail, starting with its powertrain configuration.

Engine: Powering the 2022 Aprilia SR MAX 250 HPE scooter is the company’s 244cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected unit generating a maximum power of 25 hp and a peak torque of 21.6 Nm.

Platform: The new SR MAX 250 HPE shares its architecture with the already on sale SR MAX 300, however, it is designed to offer greater comfort for long rides along with more practicality for everyday commuting.

Design: The new Aprilia maxi scooter sure looks stylish as can be seen in the images. It gets a sporty fairing with angular styling at the front and side profile.

Features: The stylish scooter benefits from several comforting and convenience features like a large windscreen, a full-colour 7-inch TFT display, and a wide one-piece saddle for pillions and rider

Ride & handling: Helping it ensure a smooth ride is its suspension setup that includes a front telescopic fork and rear twin gas-charged shocks. Braking is taken care of by an ABS-regulated front and rear disc handle. Also part of the pack is a traction control system and two riding modes - Eco and Sport.

At present, the all-new 2022 Aprilia SR MAX 250 HPE is limited to the Chinese market, however, it could be introduced in other markets too just like the SR GT 200 and SR GT 125.
