Volkswagen Malaysia lowers 2025 Touareg R-Line price, adds appeal to Flagship SUV

KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has adjusted the price of its flagship SUV, the Touareg R-Line, making it more accessible to local buyers.

The locally assembled Volkswagen Touareg R-Line now starts at RM382,690 (excluding the Volkswagen Assurance Package or VAP), thanks to enhanced local operations and favourable market conditions that have enabled significant cost efficiencies.

Assembled at the Hicom plant in Pekan, Pahang—marking a historic milestone as the first time this flagship SUV is built outside of Europe—the Touareg R-Line now comes with a more accessible price tag.

Initially launched in March 2024 at RM454,272, the updated price reflects a remarkable saving of RM71,582, offering Malaysian buyers an even more compelling reason to consider this luxurious SUV.
