UMW Toyota February 2024 sales, new promo, ‘Beyond Zero’ initiative, and more
KUALA LUMPUR: After Proton, UMW Toyota has also revealed its sales figures for February 2024. During the second month of the year, the Japanese automaker sold a total of 7,480 vehicles (7,347 Toyota units and 133 Lexus units) showcasing an increase of 19.18% over the previous month.

The automaker held a 9-day 'Beyond Zero' event last month, which aligns with the company’s global pursuit of Carbon Neutrality by 2050. The said initiative reflects Toyota's innovative shift in the auto industry, envisioning a future where transportation choices harmonise with the environment.
During the event, the automaker showcased an extensive lineup of electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and fuel cell electric vehicles, including the highly anticipated bZ4X, Hilux BEV, C+pod ultra-compact BEV, Camry Hybrid, Alphard Hybrid, Vellfire Hybrid, Toyota Mirai FCEV, GranAce FCEV, and Hilux FCEV.

New Toyota Hiace Panel Van 3.0L
UMW Toyota has opened the bookings for the all-new Hiace Panel Van 3.0L. The upcoming van is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine tuned to deliver a maximum power of 136 PS at 3400 rpm and a peak torque of 300 Nm at 1200 - 2400 rpm. It is equipped with essential safety features like an anti-lock braking system, load sensing proportioning & bypass valve, high-mount stop lamp, and reverse sensors. Also part of the kit is an optional 7.0-inch touchscreen display audio system mated to Reverse Camera and Bluetooth Connectivity.
“As we introduce the upgraded Hiace Panel Van, we reinforce our promise to provide not only powerful vehicles but also a greener and cleaner driving experience, not just in our passenger vehicles but in our commercial lineup as well,” said Ravindran K.
'Journey of Reflections' promotion
The automaker also rolled out the "Journey of Reflections" promotion offering up to 100% financing on selected models, with savings of up to RM 5,500 on the new Yaris and monthly instalments from RM 688 for the all-new Vios. Furthermore, the Toyota Service Savers program provides convenient monthly payments starting at RM 18.
