Toyota Innova, Hilux, and Fortuner updated for Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota Malaysia has updated its international multi-purpose vehicle (IMV) lineup to make them more comfortable for the driver and passenger. Part of Toyota’s IMV range is three ladder frame-based models - Hilux, Fortuner, and Innova.

What does UMW Toyota Motor’s latest update include?

All three models now benefit from a new 9-inch Display Auto infotainment head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.

The models also get new USB Type-C charging ports along with a revised interface for the panoramic view monitor, and a new front digital video recorder that now supports Wi-Fi connectivity and can be easily connected to the owner’s/driver’s smartphone for easy data transfer.

Which IMV model variants benefit from the above-mentioned updates?

New infotainment system with Android & iOS support: Standard across all variants of Fortuner, Innova 2.0G & Innova 2.0X, and Hilux 2.8 Rogue & Hilux 2.4V (AT)

Updated DVR: Available in all three models

Updated dashcam: Standard across all Fortuner variants, Innova 2.0X, and Hilux Rogue & Hilux 2.4V (AT)

On all the other variants these updates are optional. Also, customers can opt for a rear-facing DVR at an additional cost.

How much do these Toyota IMV models cost after the update?

The best part about the recent update is that it doesn’t come at an additional cost. So, the pricing of all three cars - Hilux, Fortuner, and Innova remains the same and they continue to benefit from goodies from last year's update. The below-mentioned table shows the price details for each model.
