Just like the exterior, the overall layout of the Maxus G10 cabin follows a classy approach. We must say that Maxus has done a decent job in finishing the cabin in the black-brown theme, which comes with the same brown tone stitching.

Being a people's mover, it gets a 2-3-2-3 layout, the 3rd- and 2nd-row bench with 60:40 split. Also, the 3rd-row seats can slide forward and backward. 

The multi-functional steering wheel is all-black and the digital instrument console behind it looks cool with comprehensive design details and information on offer.

The centre portion of the dashboard is the main attraction point on the inside. As here rest the massive 15-inch head unit that split into a moderately-sized touch display and a smaller digital clock. It is followed by AC vents that showcase a conventional design. The rectangular AC vents come with an auto digital display and round dial for automatic climate control.

Other prominent features present on the inside include a 360-degree camera, rear window defroster, keyless entry system, central locking, passive entry & start, auto-latch, auto rain sensor, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, auto cruise control, 220-volt power supply, rear A/C vents, and Bluetooth. Adding to passengers' convenience is luggage lamp, cup holders, lighter & ashtray, coat hooks, and dual door storage compartment.

Maxus has made sure that there is no shortage of elegance in the visual appeal of the G10. However, the fact remains that the original design of the MPV has been in existence for quite some time, making the car look a bit dated. 

At the front, the Maxus G10 has got a three-slate grille that is finished in chrome and comes with honeycomb mesh and the brand's logo at the centre. The sweptback Xenon HID headlamps and black fog lamp casing does add some modernity to the frontal stance of the MPV. 

The side profile of the Maxus G10 looks quite straightforward with wide chrome window bars and dual sliding door panels. However, the round hump over the wheel arches, 16-inch alloy wheels, and body-coloured ORVM with turn signals work in favour of the G10 elegant appeal.

Moving towards the rear, the G10 MPV has been blessed with a pair of LED tail lamps with curved outer edges. The boot lid follows the conventional design, what easily stands out is the lift tailgate feature.

On the dimensions front, the G10 measures 5,166 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,980 mm in height. The wheelbase reads 3,210 mm. 

The Maxus G10 is regarded as one of the best city driving cars. It gets the inverted Macpherson struts at the front and multi-link setup at the rear. To bring it to a halt, the G10 MPV has been blessed with ventilated discs brakes at the front and disc at the rear.

The Maxus G10 is powered by a 2.0-litre GDI four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces a maximum power of 225 hp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 345 Nm at 4,000 rpm. This mill is paired to a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The Maxus G10 comes equipped with a range of safety features like ABS with EBD, ESP with EBA, reverse camera, parking sensor, dual front airbag, vanity mirrors, engine immobilizer, vanity mirrors, driver's seatbelt reminder, tyre pressure monitoring system, engine immobiliser, brake override system, and engine absorbing steering system. 

The Maxus G10 might not be an out-and-out showy car to look at, but then, it outshines its equivalents in the segment. It maintains a perfect balance of performance, convenience, and luxury. Thus making it one of the most suitable MPVs of the period.
