Shanghai Auto Show 2021: Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 revealed with two more monsters

KUALA LUMPUR: Lamborghini took advantage of the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show fully by revealing not just one but three cars. Included in the list are -

• Essenza SCV12, first public debut ever
• Huracan STO, first China debut
• Huracan Fluo Capsule collection, showcased first in the Asia Pacific

Along with the three stunning debuts, Lamborghini Urus also became part of the showcasing, rounding up the automaker's lineup in China. Let's get to know each one of the Lamborghini cars in detail, starting with the Essenza SCV12.

Essenza SCV12 

The Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is a 40 unit limited hypercar that is powered by the automaker's latest naturally aspirated V12 engine. This mill pumps out over 830 hp of power thanks to the RAM effect employed at high speeds.

The following features make the Essenza SCV12 rear-wheel-drive monster so powerful and unique -

• New X-trac sequential six-speed transmission
• Power-to-weight ratio of 1.66hp/kg
• Complex aerodynamic package
• Plus space-age driving electronic aids
• New-gen carbon fibre monocoque chassis

How much does the Essenza SCV12 hypercar cost?

We aren't sure who'll be able to get their hands on the limited-edition Lamborghini. However, just in case one does, they'd be required to shed somewhere between £1.8-2.7million each, roughly RM 9.91 - RM 14.87million. Included in this price along with the car is an exclusive club membership with specialised training programmes and premium track days at some of the world's most prestigious circuits.

Lamborghini Huracan STO

At the Shanghai Auto 2021, the Huracan STO made its Chinese debut. This one is a street-legal race car that's been heavily inspired by two of the automaker's successful race machines - Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO.

Powering the Huracan STO is a naturally-aspirated V12 mill that churns out a maximum power of 640 hp and a peak torque of 565 Nm. It helps the beast cover the century sprint in just three seconds and hit the 200 kmph mark in nine seconds. It can attain a top speed of 310 kmph.

Enabling the car to achieve superior performance figures are its elements like -

• Superior aerodynamics
• Updated transmission with better response
• Lightweight carbon fibre body panels
• Faster rapid shifts
• F1-derived Brembo CCM-R brake package

Lamborghini Huracan Fluo Capsule

If the above-mentioned Lamborghini doesn't fit your bill then here's the Huracan Fluo Capsule. This V10 monster can entice anyone with its bold and bright hues. The Ad Personam program offers the car in every colour imaginable and allows customers to spice things up greatly, but the matte Verde Shock splash does wonders for the car.
