Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica

The Huracan has a dramatic-looking cabin design which mimics the edginess and sportiness of the exterior design. There are a lot of edges and creases in the cabin of the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, which can be altered using the extensive personalization options offered by the Italian car maker.

The sporty multi-functional steering wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica has an array of controls, and paddle shifters mounted on it and find assistance in the full-TFT instrument console with dedicated HMI graphics behind the steering wheel. With Alcantara leather all around the dashboard, the cabin of the Huracan Tecnica feels rich and exudes top quality.

The centre console of the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica looks fancy with the slanted touchscreen infotainment system, which also comes integrated with climate controls. At the top of the centre console are hexagonal AC vents, while in the central and lower parts of the centre console, there are various controls and switches inspired by fighter jet cockpits.

If you keep the excessive graphics and additional aerodynamic bits of the range-topping STO version, the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is easily the sharpest-looking version of the supercar. It takes inspiration from the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 for its design, with tweaked front and rear bumpers making it look sharper and more aerodynamic than the Huracan EVO.

At the front, the new Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica gets the same highly aerodynamic and slanted bonnet with sharp creases flowing downwards and a pair of angular trapezoidal headlamps with LED projectors and double Y-shaped daytime running LEDs. The headlamp housings get Y-shaped garnishes on the sides, which extends towards the front bumper and merge with the angular air curtains on the lower edges of the bumper.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica looks almost unchanged from the side, with the side profile retaining the highly aerodynamic design featuring a dramatic-looking slanted front and rear and roofline. For the Tecnica version, Lamborghini has introduced new alloy wheel themes, with the supercar retaining the edgy-looking door-mounted rearview mirrors, flush-type door handles, door panels and air curtains behind the upper and lower part of the door panels.

At the rear too, the overall design of the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica looks tweaked with a new rear diffuser, along with the heavily revised rear bumper design. The Tecnica version retains the high-mounted dual exhaust ports on either side of the license plate housing. It also retains the edgy-looking LED tail lamps, the air curtains below them and the mesh grille above the license plate housing.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is more track-oriented than the EVO version, if not as aggressive as the range-topping STO. To make it feel precise and agile to drive, the Huracan Tecnica gains several weight-saving measures, such as a light-weight hybrid aluminium and carbon fibre frame and aerodynamic design elements, such as a front splitter with integrated wing, underbody with aerodynamic deflector and rear spoiler. The Huracan Tecnica also benefits from electronic stability control and magnetorheological suspension.

Powering the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is the same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine that powers the rest of the range of Huracan. One of the last naturally-aspirated V10 engines still on sale, this engine produces a maximum power output of 640 PS and a peak torque output of 565 Nm. The engine here is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Apart from electronic stability control, the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica also gets airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera and traction control.

The Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica is purely for those who want more exhilarating drama for track performance over the STO versions, but not as extreme as the track-only STO.
