Proton Iriz exterior
Proton Iriz is one of the best-looking cars in its segment. It received some changes in its last update which have made it even better. It features a pair of large headlamps which are joined together via an attractive grille, especially the chrome strip. Proton has tweaked the front bumper for a sportier stance. It also added a set of LED DRLs for a premium look and feel. It is the rear of the Iriz which helps it to stand out from the rest of the crowd. The highly-placed taillights, blacked-out portion of the boot, roof-mounted rear spoiler, and bumper completes the sporty rear look. We also like the blacked-out roof and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Proton Iriz is available in 5 different colours - Ruby Red, Snow White, Ocean Blue, Armour Silver, and Jet Grey.

Proton Iriz competitors
While the Proton Iriz is indeed a good car, there’s no denying that it also has some competitors. The latest 2019 Perodua Axia is considered to be Iriz’s main rival. With Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist 2.0, the Axia has become the safest car in its segment. It has active safety features which cars that cost much more than it doesn’t get. Even though the Iriz also has a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, we can’t deny Axia’s ASA 2.0. If safety is your top-most priority, then Axia could be a better option.
Kia Picanto is also available in a similar price range and has been around for quite some time now. It offers great design and interior with good performance and fuel-efficient engine. Proton Iriz kind of tries to provide the best of everything - looks, interior, comfort, space, features, safety, etc.
